The Spark
It began in a sunlit café. Our founder, an illustrator lost in noise-canceling isolation, paused her music—struck by the vibrant life outside. In that sudden silence, she asked: Why must we choose between immersive sound and being present in our own lives?That clarity sparked FreSound. We create audio for all-day comfort that connects you to your world's rhythm, never secluding you from it.
2024 Q1
Prototype Zero
We built our first open-ear prototype with a former Harmon acoustic expert, then gave it to 100 global users—from illustrators in Bangkok to runners in Portland.
The feedback was brutally clear:
“Comfort is king.”
“I need to hear the voice around.”
That raw, real-world insight became our blueprint. It’s why FreSound isn’t just engineered for sound—it’s designed for life.
