Standard Warranty
FreSound provides a straightforward warranty that is processed in the most hassle-free way possible. Please ensure you have your proof of purchase ready and refer to the terms stated on this warranty card when requesting service. Keep this warranty card, purchase invoice, and product packaging safe, and present them when applying for maintenance.
- FreSound headphones carry a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
- During the warranty period, if quality issues occur under normal use and our maintenance personnel confirm them as genuine, you will be entitled to free repair service. The warranty does not cover transportation costs or door-to-door service.
- Warranty service will not be provided under the following conditions:
1. Product malfunction or damage caused by improper installation, storage, or usage that does not follow the instructions.
2.Damage caused by force majeure.
3. Malfunction or damage caused by unauthorized disassembly or modification by individuals or organizations not authorized by ugee.
4. Inability to provide a valid proof of purchase or warranty card.
5. Warranty period has expired.
6. Hearing damage
*Listening to audio at excessive volumes may distort the sound and increase the risk of hearing damage and loss.
*Avoid listening to audio at high volumes for extended periods. - If the original warranty card is unavailable, altered, unclear, or contains incorrect or inconsistent information, the company reserves the right to refuse warranty service.
After the warranty expires, paid maintenance service from ugee is still available.
Protection Plan (Optional Add-On)
Customers who purchase the FreSound Protection Plan (1-Year or 2-Year) through fresound.com will receive extended warranty protection beyond the standard 12-month warranty.
- 1-Year Protection Plan: Extends the warranty period by an additional 12 months (total 24 months).
- 2-Year Protection Plan: Extends the warranty period by an additional 24 months (total 36 months).
Protection Plan Benefits
- Replacement Coverage: If the Product suffers accidental damage (including drops, cracks, or liquid damage) during the Protection Plan period, FreSound will replace it with a new unit.
- Replacement-only Service: The Protection Plan does not cover repairs. Instead, customers receive a replacement unit upon approval.
- Exclusions: The Plan does not cover lost or stolen products.
What You’ll Need to Provide for a Protection Plan Claim
To ensure fast approval, you must submit:
- Clear pictures and a short video showing the damaged product.
- Your FreSound warranty card.
- Your order number from fresound.com.
In some cases, FreSound may also request a photo of you with the product for verification.
